The campsite’s private pond: a fisherman’s paradise
A key feature of Le Parc de la Grève, the fishing pond (free for campsite guests) is a favorite among anglers of all ages. Nestled in the heart of the campsite, it offers a peaceful setting to fish for carp, roach, or small carp in complete tranquility. Fishing enthusiasts can choose accommodations like “Amours Blanc,” “Zen,” or “Campétoile” to stay close to the pond at all times. For fishing around the campsite, such as at the nearby Lac du Jaunay, daily fishing permits are available at reception. On-site fishing is strictly catch-and-release.
Discovering Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and the Vendée region
Ideally located, the campsite allows easy access to the beaches of Brétignolles-sur-Mer and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, just 7 km away. Enjoy walks around Lac du Jaunay or the salt marshes, nature activities such as canoeing or the Vélorail, and must-see excursions to Les Sables d’Olonne, Île d’Yeu, or Puy du Fou. Vendée offers a rich mix of sea, nature, and culture for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Enjoy homemade meals at the bistro, share a drink at the bar in a friendly atmosphere, or take advantage of the bread service (July and August) and the small convenience store for your everyday needs. You can also rent bicycles or barbecues. Everything is in place for a simple, warm, and welcoming stay under the attentive care of your hosts, Virginie and Stéphane.

Fun for young and old alike. Children aged 5 to 12 can regularly join in supervised activities, while older children try their hand at sporting tournaments. Creative workshops allow families to share some great moments together, and convivial evenings bring everyone together for bingo, children’s shows or family entertainment.
